About Dr. Simms
Dr. Simms is a licensed psychologist who received her Doctorate of Psychology in 2005 with a specialty in Psychological Assessment from Chestnut Hill College, an APA accredited institution. She received her Master of Science in Counseling and Human Services in 1992 from Villanova University, and her Bachelor of Science in 1990 from Chestnut Hill College with a major in Psychology and a minor in Business Management.

She is a member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, the Pennsylvania Tourette Syndrome Association (PATSA) and the Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation. She is a member of the PATSA Board of Directors and has been a presenter at the PATSA annual meeting.


Dr. Simms believes each person and their experience is unique. She is commited to creating an empathic and supportive environment in therapy that fosters a collaborative therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect, regardless of the age of the individual. While Dr. Simms enjoys working with individuals of every age, she has a strong passion for working with children and adolescents, with the belief that skills developed during childhood foster a more peaceful and productive adulthood. Furthermore, she has a passion for physical health that she believes is important for a balanced mind-body connection.
